scrapped: 2014's First LO & Digital Scrapbooking

 two-oh-one-four.
and it's almost to the end of January too.
time sure zoomed by.

i haven't updated this blog for the longest time, and i blame it on myself.
laziness is not a pretty part of me.

i managed to return to my basics for my first 2014 layout.
i matted the photos with Crate Paper's Love Notes twice and threw in some wood veneers, which i absolutely love.

Cheeky Girl

as soon as this was done, i knew that i should have splattered some paint, or stamped something on the background.

oh well.
i'll save them for my next 12x12.

next, digital scrapbooking.
i only do this when i'm bored at work, and also for posting birthday wishes on Facebook.
so often, it's done for someone else.
then one fine day, after putting together a digi-LO for my 2014 food photos, i decided to do one for my selfies.

Lucky Twenty Thirteen

the base paper and photo mats are from Just Jaimee's 2013 June Storyteller.
i've also added some elements from Krista Sahlin's Key To My Heart and Vintage Carnival.
the red rolled paper rose is from Sweet Shoppe Design's Remember To Smile.
and finally, after the longest time, i finally managed to use Life Love Paper's Lucky Twenty Thirteen, which is also a cut design.
so there you go, my 2013's expressions.

and this, ladies and gentlemen, is my birthday layout, using Just Jaimee's 2014 January Storyteller.
this selfie was the last one taken during 2013.

This Sweet Day

my main projects for 2014 will be mostly on guestbooks and mini albums, but i'll definitely try my best to continue doing 12x12s.
and of course, there's the Project Life.
