excitement ♥: 13 Days of Thanks [13]

this was inspired by a Facebook friend, who did a 30 Days of Thanks.

i didn't want a case of irony [i'm turning 30] so i decided on my favourite number instead.

i used Krista Shalin's Blessed for the alphas and her Grunge for both the paper and embellishments.
her Vintage Carnival was the first full digital kit that i had purchased.

and what's a 13 Days of Thanks without a touch of scrapbooking.

i kept it as simple as possible because it's the words that i wanted to convey.

i love shadow-box frames.

one, it's a frame.

two, it has enough space for the embellishment depth.

three, it makes gifting so much easier.

and with that, this was my gift to the long-awaited newly-wed couple.

It's A Love Thing

the base paper was from one of The PaperMarket's gorgeous kits and if i remembered correctly, that should be the bride's favourite colour.

**i'm crossing my fingers for that**

the paper bits were from my scrap stack [an A4 envelope filled] and those scrabble alphas are just too irresistible to resist.

a touch of Maya Road butterfly and stars make me [the couple too, hopefully] a happy girl.

one of my aunts is having a housewarming, and apart from the Tupperware gifting, i decided to do something. **and i suddenly forgot how to spell that word. it wasn't until i got to my aunt's place that i realised it. so i managed to switch the 'M' and 'O'. i'm so hoping that the letters are intact. oh my god ... (T.T)**

with that, they sent me this anticipated package.

The Little Shoebox's Destination kit.

almost immediately, i thought of two easel cards and a frame.

then, during a trip to IKEA with mrs. Mom, i found this.

IKEA's Ribba Shadow Frame.

i bought one white and one black.

and with the white one, plus The Little Shoebox kit, i came up with this small project for a colleague's wedding.

i really hope the couple likes it.
