scrapped: 2013's First 12x12

it has been too long.
after putting everything negative behind me, i managed to finally sit down to my beloved papers and glue.
with the Silhouette Cameo as an additional member to the family.

 Three-Oh
Lily Bee Buttercup papers; Maya Road Butterflies; Prima Flowers

this was inspired by one of Sketchy Thursdays' sketches, and i'm absolutely l♥ving the Lily Bee colours.
i should start focusing on what my brains, eyes and heart like when scrapbook shopping.
and the first Cameo cut on this layout was the 'Three-Oh'.

shopping for digital scrapbooking is always a delicious journey for me.
even though i keep telling myself to stop, the message don't seem to travel straight to my brains.

this was one of the "rejected" photos for Marque D'Amour's photoshoot, but i love this photo.
our red outfits simply shone in a background of gray.
apparently, all the photographer did was shake the camera.
 questionable but whatever works.

this was our [mrs. Mom's and mine] first long walk in 2013.
from Furama City Center Hotel to Merlion Park @ One Fullerton.
we've only had two stops.
one, was at The Central and two, at the end of Boat Quay, which these photos were taken.
mrs. Mom was tired but she did it.
now i'm planning for Walk No. 2.

it's definitely, mostly excitement.
you only turn 30 once and instead of moping to the change in digit, celebrate!
and don't forget to reflect - that's the most important thing to do as a human.

this was made using Krista Sahlin's Fleetwood and Blessed alphas.
i love the wood grain.

my favourite scrapbooking idol, Piradee, liked an FB page called Pixels & Company.
i casually clicked on it and fell in love immediately.
it's all the digital scrapbook yummies and god-knows why i haven't ventured into this earlier on.
but unfortunately, the payment mode is only in Paypal, which i'm not "in-tune" with.
it's still an eye-candy anyway.
